The club competes in the following leagues, giving members the opportunity to play in external competitions:

 

• League of Country Bowlers

• Mansfield Saturday League

• Mansfield Mid-Week League (A and B teams)

• Notts County Bowling Association (North & South)

 

All members are invited to sign up for matches at the beginning of the season. Sign up sheets are on the noticeboards in the club house. Friendly matches are most suited to those who are new to playing matches. The team captains select their teams about two weeks in advance and display them on the noticeboard on the outside of the clubhouse. Those selected to play should arrive at Farnsfield Bowling Club at the time specified on the team sheet. Those making their own way to the away venue should notify the team captain in advance.

Results of matches are posted on Facebook during the season and displayed in the clubhouse at the end of the season.

Together with Cup Matches and Friendly Matches, over 150 games are played on the green each season. Over one thousand visits to Farnsfield are made each year by players from other clubs.
