Presidents Day Sat Sept 16th 2023

Farnsfield Bowling Club held their final outdoor session of the season on a warm sunny September day.

The afternoon began with the unveiling of a bench in memory of Stan Chadwick, who was a former Chairman and key member of the club for many years.

After this, club members enjoyed a 15 end roll-up, which was won by Ross Munro.

The Chairman, Alan Thompson, presented the competition trophies for the season. This was followed by a buffet and bar, supported by Bob Reeves, our President.

Village Match 10th Sept 2023

There was a great turnout of competitors from various village groups, who competed once again for the Village Trophy.

This was retained by the St.Michael's Church team, who also won it in May. They fought a hard game to become worthy winners of this prestigious event.

Congratulations to them and to all who took part. Unfortunately, the great British weather intervened and the match had to be shortened but everyone seemed to enjoy the afternoon.

Finals Day - 2nd Sept 2023

Farnsfield Bowling Club held their Finals Day today Saturday 2nd September.

It was a glorious day, albeit very hot, out on the green. The bowling was of a very high standard and it was particularly gratifying to see so many new members who have joined the club in the last few years getting through to the finals and showing great potential for the future.

Well done to everyone who played and those involved in organising what was a brilliant day.
