St Patrick's Night Social - 20th March 2015

The club held another successful Beetle Drive on Friday 20th March, this time with a St.Patricks theme.

It was a great night with a happy crowd which was even bigger than ever. The food was excellent, well done to all who contributed. Ray Silcock amused us with a little story and Tony McGrath was his usual brilliant self, entertaining us yet again, what a talent !

The first game was a three way split between Paula Smith, Roger Swain and Ray Silcock, the second game saw Paula Smith as the outright winner with Norma Atkinson in second place.

Thank you to all who helped make the event such a great success, especially Audrey, Barbara and Marilyn assisted by Tony and Trevor.

Halloween Drive Social - 24th Oct 2014

Another fantastic and successful social evening at the club. This time a “Halloween Drive”. The witches coven (Farnsfield Branch) put on a great event, a Faith Supper and “Halloween Drive”.

The 3 “witches” Audrey, Barbara and Marilyn assisted by various other witches and wizards of the club were delighted to see such a great turnout.

Tony McGrath put on a superb musical set and had everyone laughing with his rendition of “Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls”. The food was plenty and varied and of the usual high standard.

Congratulations to everyone for bringing the food and raffle prizes and making the event such a great success.
